Irrigated Pasture

Description

This mixture of cool season forage grasses can be used for either grazing or baling.  These are irrigated species that can grow at a wide range of elevations (4,000 – 9,000).  To get the best quality hay bales, cut before the grass heads out.  To get the best performance out of Irrigated Pasture, fertilize in the spring and then after each cutting. The drilled rate for pasture grass is 20 lbs/acre and 25 for intensive hay production.  Broadcast rate is 25 lbs/acre.
