Pine Dropseed
Pine Dropseed is a native, warm season bunch grass that can be found growing on dry slopes, in dry meadows, and in open ponderosa pine forests in Colorado and elsewhere in the southwest from 2,300 to 12,000 feet. When the plants are young they provide good quality, palatable forage for livestock, but that declines as the plants mature.
