Inland Saltgrass

Inland Saltgrass is a native, cool-season, rhizomatous, perennial bunch grass.  It is palatable for both cattle and horses and is suitable for pastures irrigated with saline water.  It resists grazing and trampling and stays green during drought periods when most other grasses are dormant.

Inland Saltgrass is also useful for wetlands restoration.  It provides food for waterfowl and forms dense mats that help with soil stabilization.
