Six Weeks Fescue

Named for the fact that, after a rain, it supplies about six weeks of forage for cattle, Six Weeks Fescue is a native, cool-season, annual bunch grass.  It is commonly found in burn areas and is a good reclamation species for getting vegetation re-established on disturbed sites.
