Tall Fescue Turf

Tall Fescue Turf is a dark green turf grass that uses less water than Kentucky Bluegrass based mixes.It is a bunch grass as opposed to a spreading grass. After the lawn has matured (in the second year) it will have a deep network of roots. These need to be watered deeply but much less frequently.  A watering schedule of once a week – 10 days for 2+ hours should keep your lawn beautiful.  Turf Type Tall Fescue is a wider bladed grass than traditional Kentucky Bluegrass.
