Antelope Bitterbrush

Description

Antelope Bitterbrush is a very versatile native shrub. It provides high quality browse for big game and livestock, seed and cover for smaller animals and birds, and is a key reclamation shrub. It fits into xeriscaping and is attractive on top of it all! Antelope Bitterbrush is generally found between 4,000′ and 8,500′ elevation and in precipitation zones between 10″ and 34″. It is slow to germinate and to grow, putting down deep roots. It has yellow to white blossoms occurring in late spring and early summer.
